Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What became "true" just from endless repetition?
4·11 days agoRight after 9/11, before they got the memo, how TV channels kept saying first responders had heard a bomb in the base of the building and later they all started saying it collapsed due to structural damage from the plane impact, and it just got accepted with no one bothering to question it. Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your most cynical opinion about the world?
12·24 days agoI believe we live in a very duplicitous world were greedy old people don’t mind seeing the world burn if they can get richer. The more you learn about the world the shittier it seems. I expect humanity will go extinct either because of climate change or due to achieving AGI and everyone being rendered for materials to make more money.
Anyone can make lists there. I’ve made a few myself.
