I don’t get hyped for games anymore. I’m too old, I’ve seen too much and been disappointed too often. But did you just fucking seen that sheeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

I feel like I’ve heard this a few times. I won’t get my hopes up unless they actually start production.

TLDR News. They usually have a sub 10 min YouTube video that will get you up to speed on the facts of the matter on one of their channels. Either TLDR News Global or TLDR News EU in most cases. It’s almost always a good place to start at least.

I know its unlikely, but what if its just the plot from the comic done well? Anti fascist as fuck and a good time for no one. I think we could do with that atm.

The is very cool! Now make one 10 times the size and put sales on all the existing cargo ships too.

Can we just have more than 1 damn seasons of The Fades? So much squandered potential.

OpenDyslexic is less good for most dyslexics than you think. It’s based on some ideas of what might be useful rather than specific evidence. I recomend Sylexiad instead. Particularly Sylexiad Sans rather than Serif, but it’s all about finding what works best for you.

For more top quality space opera you’ll probably just have to find the right novel instead. I’d personally recomend The Algebraist, but there are plenty of options depending on your proclivities. What I wouldn’t do for an RPG set in Iain Banks’s culture universe though.

Zhed. It’s the most satisfying puzzle game I’ve ever played.

I hear you. I feel like the signs were there with all of them though.
WW could have just been one season. It had such a strong conclusion to s1 that anything after was going to be incredibly hard to get right. (I did realy enjoy season 2 as well though)
GoT was inconsistent from the beginning. Some great episodes and some less great. I think it was the hazard of doing fantasy TV at that level. No one had done it before and they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into.
HoTD feels very consistent and thought out. It starts with the confidence that GoT doesn’t have until s3. Still, considering the lack of love for s2 I’m worried about the next one. I’ll change my votes if and when I need to. Maybe Silo will make it on to my list
And don’t talk to me about Severance. I don’t need another Lost. 😆

Then I may very well be mistaken. I’ve always thought of it as the words that get from the page to my ears. I guess there’s a lot more to a screenplay than that though. I stand corrected.

If I’m not mistaken you’re talking about plot rather than writing. I’m talking about the crackling dialogue and the incredible acting that carries it. It almost Shakespearean at times.
“The Dragons dance and men are like dust under their feet. And all our fine thoughts, all of our endeavors are as nothing. We march now toward our annihilation… To die will be a kind of relief.”
I mean. Come the fuck on!!! That’s top draw writing if ever it happened! Particularly when it comes from such a headstrong character.
The eldritch imaginings of Herrenhall are obviously pretty weird (wyrd maybe even) and I understand that can be polarising, but it had some real Macbeth energy that I’m also very much down for.
In terms of plot, because of the great writing the repositioning of factions and characters was fascinating to me. The way and the why each of those new positions arrived kept me utterly hooked.

Season 4 kicks ass! It’s way better than 2 and 3. Do people not like it?

House of the Dragon. It’s a masterpiece! Incredible writing, exquisite character development, tense political manoeuvring and in the rare moment of action, an unrivalled level of spectacle.

Disappointing 😆

Is there anyone else as perverse as me having House of Dragons but not Game of Thrones on their list?

Mine is a bit niche. Male anti hero protagonist revenge movies.
Have you seen the strait to DVD Dwain Johnson film Faster? It’s exactly your niche. I’ve never been able to recommend it to anyone before, but its great!

A. C. R. A. B. All Crabs Really Are Brilliant
And watch The Lost Room, a 3 episode mini series that came out in 2006 and must be the inspiration for Control.
