You seem to be in the minority there, maybe an external clip-on webcam is a better solution? I doubt a back-facing webcam would be used very much because most people use laptops like a take-home work station, and they use phones to show things to people (I’m sure there’s a good reason you’re not doing that, it’s just what most people do)

Yeah, that kind of thing never goes away. Still probably better than Google and the like, but don’t be surprised when they start walking in line with the fascists.

And here I was thinking the EU was winning its fight against authoritarianism. Guess nowhere is safe, everyone’s gotta push back no matter where you are. Fucking exhausting that they can’t just leave us the fuck alone.

Other way around for me. I only ever went on there to see artists and hobbyists and cool people do cool things. Many cool people have gone elsewhere which is nice.

Bit sad that in all this time nothing has changed. People could be better, but they won’t. The powerful cannot rule without the cooperation of others and it seems to be part of some humans’ natures to cooperate.

Not that there’s no point to fight back, things will be worse if we don’t fight, but it sucks knowing humanity isn’t going to permanently change for the better no matter what we do.
